We are seeing our enzymes display high specific activity at low temperature – typically associated with a pronounced heat lability but this is not the only interesting parameter we see reflected in the environment.

Recently we have launched the Salt-Active Nuclease – our first enzyme displaying activity at unusually high salt-concentrations and to the best of our knowledge – the first in class enzyme but we foresee that future results of Polar Sea bioprospecting will be other new and unique enzyme properties – previously non-commercialised.
